In the field of planetary exploration, mechanically deployable aerodynamic decelerators (MDADs) are critical for planetary entry, descent, and landing systems, as they offer lower ballistic coefficients compared to rigid aeroshells. However, existing MDADs face challenges such as insufficient thermal protection, structural deformation, and limited circumferential support for the thermal protection system (TPS), which affect their stability and reliability during descent.
