Cathay Pacific Plane Returns to Hong Kong due to Technical Issue
Cathay Pacific flight CX-379 had to return and make an emergency landing at Chek Lap Kok Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong, China, on April 12th.
The Boeing 777-300 was en-route to Dusseldorf, Germany, when it had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported some technical issue with the in-flight entertainment system.
The plane landed uneventfully.
All 269 passengers and 18 crew member onboard remained safe.
The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.

Air Transat flight TS-436 had to return and make an emergency landing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on March 18th.
Volotea flight V7-1546 had to return and make an emergency landing at Falcone-Borsellino Airport, Palermo, Italy, on March 19.
Alaska Airlines flight AS-807 continued for a safe landing at Honolulu International Airport, Honolulu, Hawaii, on March 19.
