Emergency responders were dispatched to a small-plane crash on Wednesday, Dec. 31, in northern Gillespie County, near Keese-Sagebiel Road. Richard (Randy) Bills, 72, was the sole occupant of the plane and died in the crash.

The plane was carrying eight Hungarians and two Germans. “Sadly, there are no survivors,” Mombasa Air Safari said in a statement.
