Aer Lingus flight EI352 returned and made an emergency landing at Dublin Airport, Ireland, on October 3.The plane was heading to Munich, Germany, when the crew reported fumes in cabin and requested an emergency landing.
The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
The airline accommodated the passengers in other flights.

The aircraft returned to the apron safely.

Flybe Flight Makes Emergency Landing after Engine Shut Down
Flybe flight BE6938 was forced to return and make an emergency landing in Kirkwall, Scotland, on September 24.The Saab 340 turboprop jet, operated by Loganair, had to be diverted after the crew shut down its left engine due to a warning indication. The flight was en-route to Inverness, Scotland at the time.
The plane landed uneventfully. All 32 people aboard remained unharmed.
A replacement aircraft was arranged for the passengers.

UPS Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Shannon Airport
United Parcel Service flight 213 had to make an emergency landing at Shannon Airport, Ireland, on September 25.The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 plane, heading from Louisville, Kentucky to Cologne, Germany, was diverted after the pilots noticed issues with one of its three engines and had to shut it down.
The plane landed safely. There were 6 crew members aboard at the time; none of them was hurt.

The Boeing 777-200 had to return after the pilot noticed sparks and smoke in cabin due to an electrical issue.
The plane was heading towards Los Angeles International Airport, California, at the time.
The aircraft landed uneventfully. All 265 passengers and 14 crew members aboard remained safe.

The plane carrying 163 passengers landed uneventfully and all passengers remained safe.
The cause of smell is under investigation.

Pilot Killed after Small Plane Crashed in Ireland
A single-seater BD5 plane crashed near Clonea Upper in County Waterford, Ireland, on the evening of July 25.
The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was heading to Shannon Airport for attending the Foynes air show when the plane went down.
According to Foynes Air Show Director Gerry Humphreys, “The pilot had taken off from Waterford and was on transit to Shannon Airport when a technical issue occurred. The aircraft crashed as the pilot was attempting to return to Waterford Airport. He was fatally injured in the crash.”
