Allegiant Plane Diverts to Florida due to Odor in Cabin
Allegiant flight G4-749 had to divert and make a precautionary landing at Jacksonville International Airport, Jacksonville, Florida, on July 6th.
The McDonnell Douglas MD-83 was en-route from South Bend, Indiana, to Orlando, Florida, when the crew reported odor in the cabin, prompting the plane to divert.
The plane landed safely. All 172 people aboard remained unharmed.
The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.
