AirBaltic Flight Makes Emergency Landing after Clear Air Turbulence Injures Three
AirBaltic flight BT-211 had to make an emergency landing at Berlin Tegel Airport, Germany on November 24.
The Boeing 737-300, flying from Riga, Latvia, declared emergency after it encountered severe clear air turbulence that injured a flight attendant and two passengers.
The plane landed uneventfully. Authorities said one passenger was taken to hospital with a fractured leg while the other passenger and crew member were treated at the airport.
The flight was carrying 59 passengers and 5 crew members at the time.

















Mr. Mohammad Shafqat and Ms. Ammara Ashraf had been fighting with eight family members, and when the argument escalated, the two were taken into custody and then released.
