Twitter News: Mesa Survives
It’s being circulated on Twitter that Mesa Air is out of Chapter 11, and is now in a good position. Apparently they downsized, eliminated 200 inessential planes, and cut out unnecessary leases. This is what Mesa is now: 76 aircraft with approximately 450 daily system departures to 94 cities, 38 states, the District of Columbia, and Mexico; and still maintains contractual agreements with US Airways and United Airlines.
