Cathay Pacific Plane Returns to Hong Kong due to Technical Issue
Cathay Pacific flight CX-379 had to return and make an emergency landing at Chek Lap Kok Hong Kong International Airport, Hong Kong, China, on April 12th.
The Boeing 777-300 was en-route to Dusseldorf, Germany, when it had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported some technical issue with the in-flight entertainment system.
The plane landed uneventfully.
All 269 passengers and 18 crew member onboard remained safe.
The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.

American Airlines flight AA-87 had to return and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport in London, England, on March 11th.
CityJet flight WX-181 made a hard landing at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, Netherlands, on January 25.
