    Three Injured After Small Plane Crashed in California

    A small plane crashed into a parking lot near Gillespie Field in El Cajon, California, on December 17th.

    Authorities said the pilot had reported engine issues, and was attempting to return to Gillespie Field when the plane went down and caught fire.

    Three people were injured in the crash, including the pilot and two passengers. They were taken to hospitals.

    The incident is being investigated.

    Spirit Airlines flight NK-265 encountered severe turbulence near Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on December 5th.

    The Airbus A321-200 plane flying from Atlantic City, New Jersey, was descending toward Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport when it hit turbulence that injured one passenger and three crew members.

    The plane continued for a safe landing.

    United Airlines Plane Diverts to Japan after Hitting Turbulence

    United Airlines flight UA-2 made an emergency landing at Narita International Airport, Japan, on November 28th.

    The Boeing 787-900 plane was heading from Singapore to San Francisco, California, when it encountered turbulence twice, causing injuries to two crew members.

    The crew subsequent diverted to Narita International Airport.

    The plane landed safely. The injured were taken to a hospital.

    Tara Air Plane Skids Off Runway in Nepal; At Least Four Injured

    A Tara Air plane skidded off runway at Simikot Airport, Nepal, on November 28th.

    The plane was accelerating to takeoff for Surkhet, Nepal, when it blew a nose tire and skidded off the runway.

    There were sixteen people aboard, including thirteen passengers and three crew members. At least four of them were injured in the accident, and were taken to Humla district hospital.

    The plane sustained substantial damage.

    The four-seater Cessna plane was attempting to land at the airport when it struck a tree and went down.

    Plane Crashed in Khabarovsk Region of Russia; Six Killed

    A passenger plane crashed in Khabarovsk region of Russia, on November 15th.

    The incident happened when the plane, operated by Khabarovsk Avia, was carrying five passengers and two pilots.

    Only one passenger, a three-year-old girl, survived the crash. She suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

    The instructor David Chael, 61, was killed in the crash. The student Cortney Washburn, 39, was injured and was rushed to a hospital.

    The plane was carrying two people when it went down.

    The pilot Dean Hilde, 56, was killed in the crash. His passenger Gerald Bublitz, 42, sustained serious injuries and was flown to a hospital.

    Authorities said the plane struck two trees and crashed into a home, shortly after departing Hummel Field.

    There were three people aboard, including two adults and a juvenile. All of them sustained minor injuries and were taken to Rappahannock General Hospital.

    No one was home at the time of the crash.

    The incident is under investigation.

    Authorities said the plane went down in a densely-wooded area in the 7400 block of County Road 314A.

    The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was taken to Ocala Regional Medical Center. He was identified as Herb Francis Clark Jr., 71, of Weirsdale, Florida.

    Bhutan Airlines flight B3-700 was evacuated at Kolkata Airport in West Bengal, India, on September 9th.

    The Airbus A319-100 plane was preparing to depart for Bangkok, Thailand, when smoke was noticed emanating from the APU.

    The crew initiated an emergency evacuation.

    About twenty people were injured and were treated at the airport.
