    Small Plane Crashes in New Jersey; Pilot Killed

    A small plane crashed in a marshy area of Bass River State Forest, New Jersey, on the afternoon of November 20th.

    According to sources, the aircraft was flying from Maryland to the Ocean County Airport.

    William Lindley, 75, who was the only person aboard, lost his life in the crash.

    The incident remains under investigation.

    A small plane crashed into a home near Half Moon Bay Airport in Moss Beach, California, on November 18th.

    The single engine Cessna 172 plane, carrying two people, took off from Sacramento and was heading to the Bay Area when it went down.

    The passenger was killed in the crash while the pilot sustained serious injuries.

    The accident is being investigated.

    Both aircrafts landed safely at their destinations.

    Pilot Injured after Small Plane Crashes in Wisconsin

    A small plane crashed in the town of Mukwa in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, on November 6th.

    The plane went down on Faskell Road, near the runway of a private airport Poppy’s Flying Acres.

    The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was injured in the accident and was taken to a hospital in New London.

    Sgt. Kevin Studzinski of the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office said the neighbors had pulled the pilot out of the aircraft. “The plane is considered a total loss, but that’s not what’s important… Due to their heroic actions the pilot is still alive today,” he said.

    The plane was attempting to the land at the airport when it crash-landed and came to stop on its top.

    There were two people aboard at the time, including the pilot George Douglas, 69, and his passenger Lawrence Stapleton, 55. Authorities said Douglas remained uninjured, however, Stapleton sustained minor injuries.

    The passengers were evacuated through slides. Eight people, including 7 passengers and 1 crew member, were injured and were taken to hospitals.

    It is believed that the fire sparked after failure of right hand engine.

    FedExFedex Federal Express flight FX-910 caught fire after landing at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, Florida, on October 28th.

    The plane coming from Memphis, Tennessee, had just landed in Florida when the tower noticed fire in the left engine. According to the FAA, the plane’s left main gear had collapsed during landing that resulted in the fire.

    There were 2 crew members aboard at the time; both of them remained unharmed.

    The aircraft sustained considerable damage.
