Avianca Airlines Flight Encounters Severe Turbulence; 23 Injured
Avianca Airlines flight AV-965 had to make an emergency landing in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on June 4th.
The Airbus A330-200 aircraft, flying from Lima, Peru, ran into severe turbulence that injured 23 people on-board.
The plane continued for a safe landing in Buenos Aires, where the injured were given medical aid. Authorities confirmed that 10 people were shifted to hospital for further treatment.

Etihad Airways flight EY-474 encountered severe turbulence as it prepared to land in Jakarta, Indonesia, on May 4th.
American Airlines flight 3358 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport, Little Rock, Arkansas, on March 30th.
SpiceJet flight SG-152 had to return and make an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai, India, on March 19.
