PIA Flight Diverts to Karachi After Bird Strike

Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-735 made an emergency landing in Karachi, Pakistan, on January 22nd.

The plane heading from Peshawar, Pakistan, to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, was diverted due to a bird strike.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

A Pakistan International Airlines plane collided with a passenger stair car at Islamabad International Airport, Pakistan, on December 27th.

The incident happened when flight PK-373 was preparing to depart for Karachi, Pakistan.

No injuries were reported. A wing of the aircraft sustained damage.

The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

PIA Plane Collides With Another Plane at Karachi Airport

A Pakistan International Airlines plane collided with another plane at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan, on November 24th.

It is believed that the ATR aircraft was being given a run-up as part of its examination when it hit a Shaheen Air aircraft parked nearby.

No injuries were reported. The ATR aircraft sustained substantial damage.

PIA Plane Overruns Runway at Panjgur Airport

Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-517 overran the end of the runway on landing at Panjgur Airport, Pakistan, on November 10th.

The incident happened after the plane coming from Karachi, Pakistan, burst a tire during landing.

The plane came to stop on soft ground.

There were fifty-four people aboard at the time; all of them remained uninjured.

Faisalabad-Bound PIA Plane Suffers Bird Strike

Pakistan International Airlines flight PK-764 suffered a bird strike near Faisalabad, Pakistan, on September 4th.

The incident happened when the Airbus A320-200 plane was coming from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All one hundred and fifty-four people aboard remained unharmed.
