The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Moscow, Russia, to La Romana, Dominican Republic, was diverted after all the lavatories got blocked.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Charlotte

American Airlines flight AA-1965 had to return and make an emergency landing in Charlotte, North Carolina, on January 31st.

The Airbus A330-200 plane took off for Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, but had to turn back after an electrical odor was noticed on-board.

The plane landed uneventfully.

There were one hundred and eighty-three passengers and ten crew members aboard at the time. Authorities said all crew members were examined by medical teams at the airport, one crew member was subsequently taken to hospital.

SBA AirlinesSBA Airlines flight S3-1515 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Las Americas International Airport, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, on March 11.

The Boeing 757-200, heading from Caracas, Venezuela to Miami, Florida, was mid-air when the crew needed to shut down its right hand engine, causing the plane to divert.

The plane landed safely.

All 198 passengers and crew members aboard remained unhurt.

American Business Plane Missing in Dominican Republic

A twin-engine Hawker Siddeley 125-600A, flying from Santo Domingo to Punto Cana in Dominican Republic, went missing shortly after taking off from Las Americas airport on September 10.

According to the Special Airport Security Agency, only pilot and the co-pilot were aboard the plane when it lost communication with the control tower.

Civil Aviation spokesperson Hector Olivo said the search operation for the aircraft, which was registered to a company based out of Dover, Delaware, was launched on Thursday.
