    Authorities said the plane, en-route from Las Vegas to Frankfurt, was escorted by two fighter jets after the pilot declared an in-flight emergency due to a ‘disturbance on the plane.’

    According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, “The disturbance aboard the flight was deemed a customer service issue and not a life-threatening matter and the airline handled the matter according to their policy for customer service related matters. No arrest was made.”

    According to an airline spokesperson, “An inspection carried out by the on-ground engineering team revealed an engine fan blade was damaged beyond allowable limits.
