Bird-Hit KLM Flight Returns to Amsterdam
KLM Airlines flight KL-1681 had to return and make an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on November 1st.
The Boeing 737-900 plane took off for Barcelona, Spain, but had to return immediately afterwards due to an engine failure caused by multiple bird strikes.
The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.
