AA Plane Returns to Saint Louis after Bird Strike
American Airlines flight AA-2444 had to return and make an emergency landing in Saint Louis, Missouri, on November 19th.
The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Los Angeles, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported a bird strike.
The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
The NTSB is investigating.

Compass Airlines flight CP-6075 was hit by a bird in Salt Lake City, Utah, on August 21st.
JetBlue flight 429 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Sioux Falls Regional Airport, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on August 11th.
Jetblue flight B6-404 made an emergency landing in Oakland, California, on August 1.
A REACH Air Medical Services aircraft crashed in Humboldt County, North Coast, California, on July 29th.
