    Small Plane Crashes in St. Petersburg; Four Injured

    A small plane crashed in the waters off Albert Whitted Airport in St. Petersburg, Florida, on November 28th.

    The plane was carrying four people when it went down just after 12:30 p.m.

    Good Samaritans and the Coast Guard were able to rescue all four occupants of the plane. They were taken to the nearby Coast Guard station for medical assistance and one of them had to be later shifted to a hospital.

    Pilot Killed as Small Plane Crashes in Santa Fe

    A small plane crashed in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on November 26th.

    The plane went down as it was approaching the Santa Fe Regional Airport.

    The pilot, who is believed to be the only one aboard, was killed in the crash.

    The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

    Small Plane Crashes in Zimbabwe; 5 Dead

    A plane crashed in Masvingo, Zimbabwe, on November 23rd.

    The incident happened when the plane was transporting five people, including the pilot and four passengers, from Chiredzi to Victoria Falls.

    All five people were killed in the crash.

    It is believed that four passengers were Finnish nationals.

    Peruvian Airlines Plane Suffered Landing Gear Collapse at El Alto International Airport

    Peruvian Airlines flight P9-331 suffered the collapse of both main gear struts during landing at El Alto International Airport, Bolivia, on November 22nd.

    The incident happened when the Boeing 737-500 plane was coming from Cusco, Peru.

    There were one hundred and twenty-two passengers and five crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained uninjured.

    3 Killed in North Dakota Air Ambulance Crash

    An ambulance plane crashed in Morton County, North Dakota, on November 19th.

    The Bismarck Air Medical plane was transporting three people when it went down.

    All three occupants of the plane were killed in the crash. The deceased include a CHI St. Alexius Health registered nurse, and a Bismarck Air Medical pilot and paramedic.

    The NTSB are the FAA are investigating.

    Small Plane Crashes at Gainesville Airport; 1 Dead, 1 Injured

    A small plane crashed at Lee Gilmer Memorial Airport in Gainesville, Florida, on November 17th.

    The Lancair International Legacy plane was carrying two people when it went down.

    The pilot, identified as Robert Carlisle Alberhasky, 68, of Cumming, was killed in the crash. His passenger Mark Lewis, 69, of Flowery Branch, was injured and was taken to a hospital.

    The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

    Small Plane Crash in Iowa Kills 4

    A small plane crashed in Guthrie County, Iowa, on November 9th.

    The plane was transporting four people to Osceola, Iowa, when it went down in a cow pasture. It is believed that the pilot had suffered a heart attack and a student pilot was attempting to make an emergency landing at Guthrie Center Airport.

    All four people were killed in the crash. They were identified as Edward Ralph Anderson,49, Patrick Kellen,36, Samantha Clark,15, and Tyler Douvia, 28.

    Small Planes Collide Mid-Air Over Ottawa; 1 Dead

    Two small planes collided mid-air over Ottawa, Canada, on November 4th.

    Authorities said one plane went down in a field after the crash while the other one made it to Ottawa International Airport.

    One person aboard the plane that crashed in the field was killed.

    There were two people aboard the other aircraft; both remained uninjured.

    A small plane crashed in Broomfield, Colorado, on November 2nd.

    Authorities said the small Mustang II experimental, home-built plane went down in an open area in Anthem Ranch.

    Two people were killed in the crash.

    An Afghan army helicopter crashed in Farah Province, Afghanistan, on October 31st.

    The incident happened when the aircraft was carrying twenty-five people from Anar Dara district of Farah Province to Herat province.

    All occupants of the aircraft were killed in the crash. The deceased include the deputy corps commander of the western zone and local politicians.

    Authorities believe the accident happened due to bad weather.

    A helicopter crashed in Beekmantown, New York, on October 30th.

    Authorities said the aircraft got tangled in the power lines and caught fire before it went down.

    Two occupants of the aircraft were killed in the crash. Two others were injured.

    It is believed that the helicopter was contracted by Northline Utilities.

    A helicopter crashed into a mobile home in Sebring, Florida, on October 31st.

    The helicopter was carrying two people when it went down in Sebring Falls Mobile Home Park.

    Both occupants of the aircraft were killed in the crash. They were identified as the pilot Christopher Lord, 45, and his passenger Christopher Brugger, 52.

    One person on the ground was injured and was taken to a hospital.

    Lion Air Plane Crashes in Indonesia; 189 Feared Dead

    Lion Air flight JT-610 crashed into the Java Sea in Indonesia, on October 29th.

    The incident happened shortly after the Boeing 737-800 MAX plane took off from Jakarta, Indonesia.

    There were one hundred and eighty-nine people aboard at the time; all of them are feared dead.

    The plane was bound for Pangkal Pinang, Indonesia.

    The Boeing Company is deeply saddened by the loss of Lion Air Flight JT 610. We extend our heartfelt sympathies to the families and loved ones of those on board.

    Boeing is providing technical assistance at the request and under the direction of government authorities investigating the accident. In accordance with international protocol, all inquiries about this accident investigation must be directed to the investigating authority in charge, the National Transportation Safety Committee of Indonesia.

    Owner of Leicester City F.C. Among 5 Dead in Helicopter Crash

    A helicopter crashed outside the King Power Stadium in Leicester, England, on October 27th.

    The incident happened when the helicopter was carrying five people, including the owner of Leicester City F.C. Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, two members of his staff, a passenger, and the pilot.

    All occupants of the aircraft were killed in the crash.

    Couple Killed in New Mexico Plane Crash

    A small plane crashed near Route 66 Casino, west of Albuquerque, New Mexico, on October 16th.

    The plane was trying to land at the Double Eagle II Airport in Albuquerque but could not make it. Two people were aboard at the time, including pilot Michael Vavrek, 68, and his wife Judy Vavrek, 67; both were killed in the crash.

    The FAA is investigating.

    The wreckage was found in the Owyhee Mountains between Reynolds Creek and Silver City.

    Three people and a dog were killed in the crash.
