Delta Airlines flight DL-2109 made an emergency landing in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 30th.

The Boeing 737-900 plane took off for Salt Lake City, Utah, but had to return shortly afterwards due to vibrations on the airframe.

Transavia Plane Returns to Germany after Engine Vibrations

Transavia flight HV-9145 had to return and make an emergency landing at Munich Airport, Germany, on June 12th.

The Boeing 737-700 flying to Lisbon, Portugal, had to return after its right engine started vibrating.

The plane landed safely.

Qantas Airways Returns and Makes Emergency Landing in Australia

QantasQantas Airways plane had to return and make an emergency landing at Sydney Airport, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on April 5th.

The Airbus A380, en-route to Dubai, UAE, was mid-air when the crew detected engine vibration issues, prompting it to return eight hours after taking off from Melbourne.

The plane landed uneventfully.

UTair Aviation Plane Makes Safe Landing in Russia after Emergency Alarm

UTairUTair Aviation flight UT-247 had to return and make a safe landing at Vnukovo International Airport, Moscow, Russia, on March 20.

The Boeing 737-800, flying from Moscow to Surgut, Russia, was mid-air when the crew reported emergency alarm signalling engine vibration, prompting the plane to return.

The plane landed safely.

All 112 people on board remained unharmed.

U.S. Coast Guard Plane Makes Emergency Landing at PIE

A U.S. Coast Guard plane made an emergency landing at St. Petersburg-Clearwater International Airport, Florida, on December 21.

The crew of the C-130 Hercules plane, flying from Air Station Clearwater, declared emergency after noticing a vibrating sound coming from one of the engines.

The plane landed safely with three engines. Everyone aboard remained unhurt.

Cathay Pacific Plane Diverts to Indonesia due to Engine Shut Down

Cathay PacificCathay Pacific flight CX-170 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Bali, Indonesia, on September 25.

The Airbus A330-300, flying from Perth, Australia, to Hong Kong, China, diverted after its right engine started emitting flames and sparks, causing vibration. The crew decided to shut the engine down for a safe landing.
