A small plane crashed in Jacksonville, Alabama, on May 12th.

The Beech BE-35 plane was carrying two people when it went down in a wooded area off Whites Gap Road.

The pilot was injured and was taken to a hospital. His passenger Stefanie Fasselin, 27, who is believed to be his daughter, was killed.

Authorities said the plane landed uneventfully. The pilot Dean Stoops and his only passenger Cindy Stoops remained safe.

The incident is under investigation.
