JetBlue Airways flight B6-1468 had to return and make an emergency landing in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on August 30th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, but had to return shortly afterwards due to cabin pressure problems.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

JetBlue Airways flight B6-369 made an emergency landing in Bermuda on August 14th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane heading from John F. Kennedy International Airport, New York, to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, was diverted after an electrical odor was noticed in the cockpit.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and fifty-four people aboard remained unharmed.

Allegiant Air Plane Diverts to Florida after Encountering Turbulence; 5 Injured

AllegiantAllegiant Air flight G4-7001 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Fort Lauderdale – Hollywood International Airport, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on May 5th.

The Airbus A319-100, heading from Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to Pittsburgh, was mid-air above Atlantic Ocean when it encountered turbulence, prompting the plane to divert.

The plane landed uneventfully.

The turbulence caused minor injuries to 5 out of 143 people aboard. The injured were treated at the airport.

JetBlue Plane Makes Emergency Landing due to Laser Blinding

JetBlueA JetBlue flight had to make an emergency landing at Las Americas Airport, Dominican Republic, on January 9.

Authorities said the pilots declared emergency after one or more individuals pointed a laser beam on the plane, impairing pilot’s visibility. The flight was coming from New York at the time.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 120 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

The police are investigating.

Miami-Bound Insel Air Jet Diverts to Dominican Republic

Insel AirAn Insel Air plane made an emergency landing at Las Américas International Airport in Dominican Republic, on September 2.

The MD-82 aircraft, heading from Dutch Caribbean island of Curacao to Miami, Florida, was diverted after a warning light indicated an engine malfunction.

The plane landed safely. All 55 passengers remained unharmed.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
