Avianca Airlines Flight Returns to Sao Paulo due to Smoke in Cockpit

Avianca Airlines flight O6-6304 had to return for an emergency landing in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on February 23rd.

The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Recife, Brazil, but had to turn back after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 156 people aboard remained safe.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

Nepal Airlines Flight Returns to Kathmandu due to Hydraulic Leak

Nepal Airlines flight RA-225 had to return and make an emergency landing in Kathmandu, Nepal, on December 13th.

The Boeing 757-200 plane took off for Bangalore, India, but had to turn back due to a hydraulic leak.

The plane landed safely. All 156 passengers and 8 crew members remained unharmed.

Tigerair Flight Makes Emergency Landing after Bird Strike

The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Singapore but had to return shortly afterwards after a bird strike caused the captain’s windshield to crack.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 156 people aboard remained safe.

Latin American Wings Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Dominican Republic

Latin American wingsLatin American Wings flight H8-703 made an emergency landing in Punta Cana (Dominican Republic) on August 24th.

The Boeing 737-300 plane was accelerating to take off when the one of the tires burst. The pilot continued the take off and returned for landing after burning off fuel.

The plane landed safely. All 156 people aboard remained unharmed.
