Eurowings Flight Returns to Palma de Mallorca Airport

Eurowings flight EW-6814 had to return and make an emergency landing at Palma de Mallorca Airport, Spain, on September 10th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Nuremberg, Germany, but had to turn back due to a suspected bird strike.

The plane landed back safely.

Inspection crew later discovered that the engine had ingested a hare, which caused engine issues consistent with a bird strike.

Eurowings Plane Makes Hard Landing in Spain after Engine Access Door Problem

EurowingsEurowings flight 4U-592 made a hard landing at Palma de Mallorca Airport, Spain, on October 20.

The left side engine access door of the Airbus A330-200 opened right after taking off, making it hard for the crew to continue the flight. The plane was flying from Cologne Bonn Airport, Germany, to Palma, Spain, at the time.

The plane with 182 people aboard laded uneventfully.

Everyone aboard remained safe.
