American Airlines Plane Diverts to Missouri due to Multiple Problems

American Airlines flight AA-970 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Springfield-Branson National Airport, Missouri, on May 3rd.

The McDonnell Douglas MD-82, flying from Kansas to Dallas, decided to divert when the crew declared they had “a couple of things going on”.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.

Pilot Injured After Small Plane Crashes in West Jordan, Utah

A small plane crashed in field in West Jordan, Utah, on August 24th.

The plane went down shortly after taking off from South Valley Regional Airport. Authorities said it struck multiple power lines and sparked a small grass fire.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, sustained minor injuries. He was taken to a hospital.

Gol Transportes Aereos Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Bird Strikes

Gol Transportes Aereos flight G3-9139 had to return and make an emergency landing in Goiana, Brazil, on January 28th.

The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but had to return shortly afterwards after its left engine ingested multiple birds.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
