Small Plane Crashed at Capitol Airport; WI

A small plane crashed while taking off from Capitol Airport in Brookfield, Wisconsin, on January 4th.

The plane went down when the pilot, his wife, and their infant son were traveling to Virginia.

The pilot and his wife were injured in the crash. They were taken to Froedtert Hospital.

The baby remained unharmed but was also taken to Children’s Hospital as a precaution.

The NTSB and the FAA are investigating.

Light Plane Crash Lands in Western Australia after Losing Power

A two-seater light plane crash landed on to a service road near Muirs Highway in Mount Barker, Western Australia, on September 5th.

The RV9 lost all its power while the pilot was trying to make an emergency landing and hit the trees before crash landing.

The pilot and his wife were rescued with minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Four Killed after Small Plane Crashes in Idaho

A small plane crashed near China Beach on the Palisades Reservoir in Idaho, on March 13th.

The Cessna 182 aircraft crashed and burst into flames around 1 mile north of Alpine Airport, from where it departed.

There were four people aboard at the time; all of them were killed in the crash. They were identified as the pilot Jerry “David” Anderson, 40, his wife Jessica Ann Anderson, 38, Thomas “Brook” Summers, 39, and his wife Heidi Summers, 36. All of them were residents of Idaho Falls.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the incident.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on Indiana interstate

A 1967 Beechcraft Bonzana plane had to make an emergency landing on Interstate-65, between the cities of Seymour and Crothersville, in Indiana, on February 27th.

The plane was heading from Seymour, Indiana, to Louisville, Kentucky, when it developed a mechanical problem. The pilot Aaron Wright, 44, of Carmel, attempted to return to the airport but realized he could not make it and landed on the interstate instead.

The plane was carrying three people, including Wright, his wife, and 13-year-old son; all of them remained uninjured.

Indiana State Police, the FAA and the NTSB are investigating.

Two Injured after Small Plane Crashed in Robertson County

A Cessna 210 crashed near the intersection of Jack Rabbit Lane and OSR East in Robertson County, Tennessee, on February 16.

The plane was en-route from Arlington to College Station, Texas, when it lost engine power and went down on the Circle X Ranch.

There were three people aboard at the time; two of them, including James Guinn, 54, and his wife Kay, sustained non life-threatening injuries while the third passenger, identified as Melinda Guinn, 76, of Arlington, remained uninjured.

The FAA is investigating.

Philippine Airlines Jet Returns to Davao City after Smoke Warning

Philippine AirlinesPhilippine Airlines flight PR-1814 had to return and make an emergency landing at Francisco Bangoy International Airport in Davao city, Philippines, on September 11.

The Airbus A321-231 aircraft was en-route to Manila when the pilots noticed a cargo smoke warning and had to return.

The plane landed uneventfully.

All 131 passengers, including Elenita Binay, wife of Vice President Jejomar Binay, remained unhurt.

Small Plane Crash-Lands in Spain; 1 Killed, 1 Injured

microlightA micro-light plane made a crash-landing in an orange orchard near the runway of Seville Airport, Spain, on August 23rd.

The aircraft crash-landed after the pilot lost consciousness mid-air and his wife, with “no notion” of flying a plane, had to take charge.

The flight was heading towards Coria del Rio from Trebujena, at the time.

The pilot lost his life while his wife sustained serious injuries.
