TuiFly Plane Rejects Takeoff in Spain due to Blown Tyres

TuiFly flight X3-2149 had to reject take-off at Fuerteventura Airport, Spain, on September 18th.

The Boeing 737-800 en-route to Hanover, Germany, had to abort taking off because its both left tyres had separated from the wheels.

The plane returned safely to the apron.

All 170 people aboard remained safe.

EgyptAir Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Cairo

EgyptAir flight 802 made an emergency landing in Cairo, Egypt, on August 29th.

The plane was flying from Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, when the crew declared an emergency due to an issue with the wheels.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained safe.

Yamal Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Russia due to Missing Wheel

Yamal AirlinesYamal Airlines flight YC-145 had to return and make an emergency landing in Tyumen, Ural Federal District, Russia, on March 9.

The Boeing 737-400, heading from Tyumen to Novy Urengoy, Russia, had to return shortly afterwards after one of its main wheels was reported missing.

The plane landed uneventfully.

All 155 people aboard remained unhurt.

The incident is under investigation.

British Airways Flight Returns to Heathrow Airport due to Landing Gear Malfunction

British Airways flight BA295 had to return and make an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport in London, United Kingdom, on January 30.

The plane took off for Chicago, but had to return after the pilot reported a landing gear problem.

The plane dumped fuel before safely landing on three sets of wheel instead of five.

Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

United Airlines Plane Gets Stuck in Mud at Raleigh Durham International Airport

united airwaysA United Airlines plane got stuck in the mud while taking off from Raleigh Durham International Airport in North Carolina, on January 12.

The plane was preparing to take off for Newark, New Jersey when it took a sharp turn and veered off the runway. Authorities said one of the wheels became lodged in the mud.

No injuries were reported.

The passengers were accommodated in another flight.
