Cham Wings Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Moscow

Cham Wings Airlines flight 6Q-421 made an emergency landing in Moscow, Russia, on September 12th.

The Airbus A320-200 plane flying from Damascus, Syria, was descending toward Moscow when the captain became incapacitated, prompting the first officer to declare an emergency.

The plane continued for a safe landing. The captain was taken to a hospital.

Russian Military Helicopter Makes Emergency Landing in Hama, Syria

A Russian military helicopter made an emergency landing in Hama, Syria, on October 6th.

The Mi-28 helicopter was escorting a Mi-8 transport helicopter when it experienced a technical fault.

The aircraft landed safely. No injuries were reported.

FlyDamasFlyDamas flight 4J-502 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Cairo, Egypt, on May 19th.

The Boeing 737-500, heading from Khartoum, Sudan, to Damascus, Syria, was diverted due to an engine issue.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Nordwind Commercial Passenger Flight Dodges Missiles over Syria

On April 29, we saw a report that Nordwind passenger airlines dodged missles over Syria.

The Airbus A320-232 was flying from Sharm el Sheikh-Ophira Airport to Kazan Airport (from Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt to Kazan, Russia) was over Syria when two missiles exploded in the air close by.

Interfax.ru reported the crew steered the jet and saved the passengers’ lives. Unidentified forces launched the two ground-to-air missiles which came very close.

Russian authorities announced the incident.

On April 29, at 0455 (Moscow time), a Northern Wind plane was travelling in Syrian airspace from Sharm el Sheikh to Kazan and the pilot crew has recorded military activities on the ground that could have endangered the plane and 159 passengers.

Pilots made a safe landing.
