Delta Airlines flight 2457 made an emergency landing at Bradley International Airport, Connecticut, on August 20th.

The plane took off for Atlanta, Georgia, but had to turn back due to a mechanical problem.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Ethiopian Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at Washington Dulles Airport

An Ethiopian Airlines flight had to return and make an emergency landing at Washington Dulles International Airport, Virginia, on January 15th.

The plane took off for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, but had to turn back due to indication of a mechanical problem.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

AA Flight Returns to Jacksonville International Airport due to Mechanical Issue

American AirlinesAmerican Airlines flight 1373 had to return and make an emergency landing at Jacksonville International Airport, Florida, on November 12.

The MD-80 plane took off for Dallas, Texas, but had to return shortly afterwards after the pilot reported a mechanical problem.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 140 passengers and 5 crew members remained unhurt.

United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at LAX

United airlinesUnited Airlines flight 401 had to make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport, California, on January 11.

The Airbus A319, travelling from Denver, Colorado, declared emergency due to a suspected mechanical problem.

The plane landed uneventfully and all 120 passengers aboard remained unharmed.

The nature of mechanical problem is not clear at the moment.

Atlanta-Bound Delta Jet Returns to GSP

250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight 5437 was forced to return and make an emergency landing at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer, South Carolina, on January 8.

Airport spokesperson Rosylin Weston said the plane departed for Atlanta, Georgia, at 10:17 a.m. but had to turn back due to a mechanical problem.

The plane landed uneventfully at 10:24 a.m. All 46 passengers aboard remained unharmed.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Benton County

A 4-seater, Cirrus plane made an emergency landing on 15th Avenue NE in Langola Township, Benton County, Minnesota, near Rice, at about 1:45 p.m. on September 7.

The incident happened when the plane was en route from the Mankato area to Breezy Point.

According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, the single-engine plane, which was heading to St. Cloud Regional Airport, landed in emergency due to some mechanical problems.

None of the 4 people aboard, including the Pilot Craig Bureind, 52, of Chanhassen and his 3 passengers, suffered any injuries. The plane hit a telephone pole support wire during landing and was slightly damaged.

The FAA will investigate the incident.

Delta Flight Makes Emergency Landing at BWI

250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta flight 772, en route from Atlanta to Providence, had to make an emergency landing at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport at around 10:30 p.m. on September 5.

The aircraft was diverted to BWI because of some mechanical problems.

The plane landed uneventfully and everyone aboard remained safe.

Several other flights were delayed from BWI because of the incident.

United Airlines Flight 2068 Returns to SFO due to Mechanical Problem

new-united-logoUnited Airlines flight 2068 had to return and make an emergency landing in San Francisco due to a mechanical problem.

The Seattle-bound flight took off from San Francisco International Airport at about 1:30 p.m. on May 23. Shortly after it took off, a mechanical problem was discovered in the plane.

The Boeing 757 was then returned to San Francisco where it made an uneventful emergency landing at about 1:57 p.m.. No one was injured in the incident.

Another plane was arranged to take the passengers to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

Delta Flight Lands in Emergency on Wake Island

DeltaDelta Airlines flight 611 had to land in emergency on Wake Island, after a mechanical problem was discovered in one of the plane’s engines.

The flight, with 145 passengers on-board, was on its way from Honolulu, Hawaii to Nogoya, Japan when the engine fault was noticed. It was then diverted to the Wake Island, located northwards of Marshall Islands, where it made safe emergency landing.

All the passengers and crew members remained injured.

The airline sent a team of mechanics to examine and repair the aircraft.

United Airlines Flight 1263 Makes Emergency Landing in Jackson, Mississippi

United Airlines flight 1263 made an emergency landing at the Jackson-Evers International Airport, after a mechanical fault was discovered.

The flight was en route from Chicago to New Orleans when the problem was detected after which, the plane was landed in Jackson, Mississippi, on Monday, March 17, 2014.

Jackson Municipal Airport Authority confirms that none of the passengers or crew members were injured.
