Korean Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Japan

Korean Air flight KE-783 made an emergency landing in Fukuoka, Japan, on June 9th.

The Boeing 737-900 plane flying from Busan, South Korea, was descending toward Fukuoka when the crew reported smoke in the cockpit and requested emergency assistance.

The plane continued for a safe landing.

There were one hundred and fifty-three passengers and nine crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

All Nippon Airways Flight Returns to Tokyo due to Engine Failure

ANAAll Nippon Airways flight NH-241 had to make an emergency landing at Haneda Airport, in Tokyo, Japan, on August 25th.

The plane had just departed for Fukuoka, Japan, when the crew decided to turn back due to failure of one of the engines.

The plane landed safely. No injuries were reported.

A replacement plane was arranged for the passengers.

Ibex Airlines Plane Returns to Fukuoka, Japan

Ibex AirlinesIbex Airlines flight FW-84 had to return and make an emergency landing in Fukuoka, Japan, on April 17th.

The plane that took off for Komatsu, Japan, had to turn back because of high winds. However, on its way back, it experienced loss of cabin pressure due to a fault in air conditioning system, thus prompting the crew to declare an emergency.

The plane landed safely. None of the 40 people aboard were harmed.
