    Flight Attendant Falls From UTAir Plane

    A flight attendant fell out of a UTAir plane at Vnukovo International Airport, Russia, on December 23rd.

    The incident happened when flight UT-351 was preparing to depart for Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

    The flight attendant fell unconscious and was rushed to a hospital.

    AirBaltic Flight Makes Emergency Landing after Clear Air Turbulence Injures Three

    AirBalticAirBaltic flight BT-211 had to make an emergency landing at Berlin Tegel Airport, Germany on November 24.

    The Boeing 737-300, flying from Riga, Latvia, declared emergency after it encountered severe clear air turbulence that injured a flight attendant and two passengers.

    The plane landed uneventfully. Authorities said one passenger was taken to hospital with a fractured leg while the other passenger and crew member were treated at the airport.

    The flight was carrying 59 passengers and 5 crew members at the time.

    Plane-Catering Truck Collision Injures a Flight Attendant at Dubai Airport

    An Emirates flight catering truck collided with a Urals Airline Airbus A320 at the Dubai International Airport, resulting in flight attendant Marina Zhelyamova getting injured. None of the 128 passengers were injured.

    According to media reports, the plane was about to take off for Russia when the catering truck smashed into its tail. The collision made the female flight attendant to fall out through the open door.

    Marina Zhelyamova was immediately taken to the hospital with a concussion, and later had surgery.

    Jet Blue Flight Pins Attendant

    On Nov 20, 2013, a JetBlue Embraer ERJ-190 to Boston from Fort Myers diverted to Orlando when an emergency slide emitted a loud bang, and deployed itself in the front galley of the plane.

    There were four crew aboard and seventy-three passengers aboard flight B6-1266 who set out for Boston and ended up in Orlando. Passengers were evacuated in Orlando and transferred to a plane that didn’t have an emergency slide in the front galley pinning a flight attendant to the wall.

    The flight attendant did not suffocate, but was assisted in freeing his head, apparently.
