IndiGo Flight Diverts to Bhubaneswar due to Medical Emergency

IndiGo flight 6E 822 made an emergency landing in Bhubaneswar, India, on December 22nd.

The plane heading from Kolkata to Bengaluru, India, was diverted after a 32-year-old male passenger suffered a medical emergency.

The plane landed safely. The patient was rushed to the Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar where the doctors later declared him dead.

Air India Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Mumbai

Air India flight AI-669 had to return and make an emergency landing in Mumbai, India, on May 22nd.

The Airbus A320-200 plane took off for Bhubaneswar, India, but had to turn back after the crew noticed smoke in the cockpit.

The plane landed back safely. All 155 people aboard remained unharmed.

Bird-Hit Vistara Airlines Plane Lands Safely in Odisha

VistaraA Vistara Airlines plane was hit by a bird while descending toward Bhubaneswar in Odisha, India, on May 5th.

Authorities said the bird struck the nose of the plane that was performing flight UK-709 from New Delhi to Bhubaneswar.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All 50 passengers and 7 crew members remained unharmed.
