The Airbus A321-200 plane was accelerating to take off for Munich, Germany, when the crew rejected take off after spotting a flock of geese in the departure path.

The plane was able to depart after a delay of 70 minutes.

Flybe Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Belfast City Airport

The plane was flying from Southampton, England, when the crew declared an emergency due to a minor technical fault.

Skywest Airlines Flight Returns to Portland due to Smoke in Cockpit

SkyWestSkywest Airlines flight OO-3470 had to return and make an emergency landing in Portland, Oregon, on May 31st.

The plane took off for Santa Barbara, California, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported smoke in the cockpit.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 70 passengers aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

Pilot Killed after Small Plane Crashes in Alberta

A small plane crashed near Red Deer, Alberta, Canada, on May 7th.

Authorities said the plane went down in a farm field located west of Sylvan Lake.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was killed in the crash. He was identified as 70-year-old Mike Paul Chysyk, of Saskatoon.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

United Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Arkansas due to Smoke in Gallery

The Embraer 170, en-route from Indianapolis to Houston, was mid air when the flight attendant saw smoke in its gallery, prompting the crew to divert.

The plane landed uneventfully.

All 70 passengers and crew members onboard remained unhurt.
