Single Engine Plane Crashes in California; 2 Killed

A single-engine plane crashed at Lake Berryessa between Pleasure Cove Marina and Markley Cove Resort in Napa County, California, on the morning of May 8th.

The two men aboard the Icon A5, identified as Jon Murray Karkow, 55, and his passenger Cagri Sever, 41, were killed in the crash. Both were employees of Icon Aircraft.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Small Plane Crashed in Bayonne, New Jersey; Pilot Injured

A Piper PA-28 plane crashed in a residential area in Bayonne, New Jersey, on February 19th.

The plane went down on Avenue E between 41st and 42nd streets, knocking out some power lines.

The pilot, who was the only one aboard, was injured and was taken to Saint Barnabas Medical Center, New Jersey.

The cause of accident is being investigated.

United Express Flight Makes Emergency Landing at McAllen Miller International Airport

United ExpressUnited Express flight 4020 operated by Mesa Airlines made an emergency landing at McAllen Miller International Airport in Hidalgo County, Texas, on January 28.

The airline said that the ATC declared a ‘precautionary emergency’ after a brake light indicator came on.

The Embraer 175 plane landed uneventfully. There were 41 people aboard the plane; all of them remained unhurt.

The maintenance personnel inspected the plane and cleared it to continue the flight to Houston.

American Eagle Flight Diverts to Alabama due to Fuel Leak

ExpressJetExpressJet Airlines Flight 2762, operating as American Eagle, had to divert and make an emergency landing in Huntsville, Alabama, on November 11.

The flight was heading from Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport, Tennessee, to Dallas, Texas, when a passenger reported fuel leaking out of the wing, prompting the pilot to divert.

The plane landed safely. All 41 passengers and three crew members remained unharmed.

The airline arranged a replacement aircraft for the passengers.
