Emirates Plane Diverts to Perth due to Medical Emergency
An Emirates plane had to make an emergency landing in Perth, Western Australia, on December 1st.The A380 plane was en-route from Auckland, New Zealand, to Dubai, UAE, when a passenger went into labor. There were two doctors on-board who helped her through her contractions while the pilot diverted to Perth.
The passengers said the woman did not speak English and the doctors had to use Google translate to communicate with her.
The plane landed safely. The passenger was rushed to hospital where she gave birth to a baby girl.
The delayed flight reached Dubai the next day.

Emirates Plane Returns to Ethiopia after Bird Strike
Emirates Airlines flight EK-724 returned and made an emergency landing in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on September 25.The Airbus A330-200 was heading to Dubai, UAE, when a bird struck its right engine, forcing the crew to shut down the engine and declare an emergency.
The plane landed safely.
No injuries were reported.

Gulf Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing as Indian Infant Dies Onboard
A Gulf Air flight had to make an emergency landing at Abu Dhabi airport, UAE, on the morning of March 2.The flight, en-route from Kochi to Bahrain, was diverted after an 11-month-old child fell sick.
Medics were put on alert at the airport, however, the child had already died when the plane landed. Her body was shifted to Shaikh Khalifa Medical City.
The child, identified as Rishi Priya, of India, was travelling with her mother Aswani Binoy. Her relatives said she had mild fever when she boarded the plane.
