Air Transat Plane Rejects Take-off in England after Engine Problems

Air Transat flight TS-232 had to abort taking-off at Gatwick Airport, London, England, on May 3rd.

The Airbus A330-300 en-route to Toronto, Canada, was about to take-off when two loud bangs were heard due to engine failure and stall.

The plane returned to the apron safely.

All 326 passengers and 11 crew members remained unhurt.

Air Transat Plane Returns to Scotland after Sensor Problem

Air TransatAir Transat flight TS-183 had to return and make an emergency landing at Glasgow Airport, Paisley, Scotland, on September 16th.

The Airbus A310-300 headed for Toronto, Ontario, Canada, was climbing out of Glasgow when the crew reported a sensor problem.

The plane landed uneventfully.

All passengers onboard remained unharmed.

Air Transat Plane Returns to Gatwick Airport due to Cabin Pressure Issue

Air TransatAir Transat flight TS-423 had to return and make an emergency landing at Gatwick Airport, United Kingdom, on June 10th.

The plane took off for Toronto, Ontario, but had to return shortly afterwards after the crew reported a cabin pressure issue.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Air Transat Plane Returns to Montreal due to Hydraulic Problem

Air TransatAir Transat flight TS-436 had to return and make an emergency landing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on March 18th.

The Airbus A330-300 took off for Cancun, Mexico, but had to return shortly afterwards due to an indication of low hydraulic quantity.

The plane landed uneventfully. There were 366 passengers and 12 crew members aboard at the time; all of them remained safe.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
