Spirit Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Myrtle Beach

Spirit Airlines flight NK-779 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on July 26th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane heading from LaGuardia Airport, New York, to Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, Florida, was diverted after several passengers and crew members started feeling ill due to a strange odor on board.

The plane landed safely. Ten people were taken to hospital.

The Airbus A321-200 plane flying from Atlantic City, New Jersey, was descending toward Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport when it hit turbulence that injured one passenger and three crew members.

The plane continued for a safe landing.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
