Congolese Cargo Plane Crashes near Kinshasa; 7 Dead

A Congolese cargo plane crashed near Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, on December 20th.

The incident happened when the plane was returning to Kinshasa after delivering election materials to Tshikapa on behalf of the national electoral commission (CENI).

Seven crew members were killed in the crash.

CAA Flight Suffers Nose Gear Steering System Failure

Compagnie Africaine Aviation flight BU-2311 suffered a nose gear steering system failure at Mbuji Mayi Airport, Democratic Republic of the Congo, on April 16th.

The incident happened when the plane was backtracking to depart for Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

The plane became disabled on the runway.

Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

Brussels Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Belgium

Brussels Airlines flight SN-357 made an emergency landing in Brussels, Belgium, on June 12th.

The Airbus A330-300 plane took off for Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, but had to turn back due to issues with the weather radar.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Brussels Airlines Plane Returns to Belgium due to Hydraulic Failure

Brussels Airlines flight SN-357 had to return and make an emergency landing at Brussels Airport, Belgium, on May 13th.

The Airbus A330-300 flying to Kinshasa, Congo, had to return due to hydraulic failure.

The plane landed safely.

No one was injured.
