Air Canada Jazz flight 8481 had to make an emergency landing at Edmonton International Airport in Alberta, Canada, on November 6.
The plane was heading from Calgary to Grande Prairie, Alberta, when one of its tires blew off during take-off. Due to strong winds at Calgary International Airport, the pilot decided to make an emergency landing at Edmonton airport.
Authorities said that the right main landing gear of the aircraft collapsed as it touched down in Edmonton at around 8:36 p.m.
There were 71 passengers and 4 crew members aboard at the time. Jazz Aviation LP confirmed that 4 passengers were taken to hospital and that 3 of them were later released after treatment.
The incident remains under investigation.
