Emirates Airlines flight EK-724 returned and made an emergency landing in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on September 25.
The Airbus A330-200 was heading to Dubai, UAE, when a bird struck its right engine, forcing the crew to shut down the engine and declare an emergency.
The plane landed safely.
No injuries were reported.
Emirates Airlines flight EK-612 made a safe landing at Benazir Bhutto International Airport, Islamabad, Pakistan, on September 9.
The Boeing 777-300, flying from Dubai to Islamabad was struck by a bird while it was about to land.
The aircraft sustained significant damage and could not depart for the return flight EK-613.
No injuries were reported.
Kuwait Airways flight KU-361 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Al Maktoum International Airport, Dubai, on July 7.
The plane was en-route from Kuwait to Colombo in Sri Lanka, when the pilot detected a technical problem in one of the engines and decided to divert.
The Airbus A300-600 landed uneventfully.
The passengers were later accommodated in a replacement plane.
Air Arabia flight G9128 had to divert and make an emergency landing at Al- Minhad Airbase, Dubai, on May 3.
The plane, en-route from Kuwait to Sharjah, had to be diverted after a passenger said it was about to explode.
The airline confirmed that “[the] flight landed safely and the authorities are currently holding the necessary investigation.”

Who: two pilots and five contractors working for British oil and gas services company Petrofac: an American, a Briton, two Indians, a Pakistani, one Filipino and a Venezuelan.
Why: The British pilot lost control during take off, hit a crane crashed and exploded wednesday on a recently installed Resilient jack-up oil rig. After the helicopter propellers hit the crane, the aircraft split in two; half smashed on to the rig, while the other half fell into the sea.
The rig is owned by AP Moller-Maersk but operated by Petrofac on behalf of state-owned Dubai Petroleum. Production in one of Dubai’s four oil fields has been suspended. The engine and the gear box have been found.
So far five of the bodies have been identified; one report says only two of the bodies need identification by DNA testing. All of the victims were contracted personnel.
