Small Plane Crashes in Daytona Beach; Two Dead

A small plane crashed in Daytona Beach, Florida, on April 4th.

The Piper PA-28 plane, carrying two people, went down shortly after taking off from Daytona Beach International Airport.

Both occupants of the plane were killed in the crash.

It is believed that the pilot was a student at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach while the passenger was a pilot examiner from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Daytona Beach International Airport

A small plane made an emergency landing at Daytona Beach International Airport, Florida, on March 30th.

It is believed that the twin-engine Piper Aztec plane declared an emergency due to a landing gear issue.

The plane landed safely after burning off excess fuel.

There were two people aboard at the time; both of them remained unharmed.

The plane is registered to Ace Tomato Company based out of Daytona Beach.

Air Berlin Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Daytona Beach

Air Berlin flight AB-7416 had to divert and make an emergency landing in Daytona Beach, Florida, on February 25th.

The Airbus A330-200 plane heading from Dusseldorf, Germany, to Cancun, Mexico, was diverted after smoke was noticed in the cockpit.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.
