Delta Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport

Delta Airlines flight DL-803 had to return and make an emergency landing at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport, Kentucky, on March 23rd.

The plane took off for Orlando, Florida, but had to return shortly afterwards due to reports of a smoky odor in the cabin.

The plane landed back safely. All 148 passengers aboard remained unharmed.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.

3 Dead After Small Plane Crashes in Tennessee

A small plane crashed in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Tennessee, on December 26th.

The Cessna 182 plane was heading to Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge Airport, Sevierville, Tennessee, when it went down.

There were 3 people aboard at the time, including Kim Smith, 42, David Starling, 41, and Hunter Starling, 8. All of them were killed in the crash. They were from Bradford County, Florida.

Delta Airlines Flight Diverts to Austin Straubel International Airport

250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight 2841 made an emergency landing at Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on May 10th.

The plane took off from Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was en-route to Minneapolis, Minnesota, when the crew reported a smoky odor and requested an emergency landing.

The plane landed safely. All 131 passengers remained unharmed.

Bell 206 Helicopter Crashed in Tennessee; 5 Killed

A Bell 206 sightseeing helicopter crashed close to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Sevierville, Tennessee, on the afternoon of April 4th.

The helicopter caught fire right after hitting the ground. Five people lost their lives in the crash.

The FAA and NTSB are investigating the cause of crash.
