Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing due to Engine Issue

Delta Airlines flight DL-128 made an emergency landing in Shemya, Alaska, on December 24th.

The Boeing 767-300 plane heading from Beijing, China, to Seattle, Washington, was diverted due to an issue with one of the engines.

The plane landed safely. All one hundred and ninety-four people aboard remained unharmed.

Cathay Pacific Plane Diverts to US Military Airport in Alaska

Cathay PacificCathay Pacific flight CX884 had to divert and make an emergency landing at a U.S. military airport in Shemya, Aleutian Islands, Alaska, on July 29.

The Boeing Co 777-300ER, en-route from Hong Kong, China, to Los Angeles, California, had to be diverted after it was filled with smoke.

The plane landed uneventfully. All 276 passengers and 18 crew members remained safe.
