Delta Airlines Flight Diverts to Heathrow Airport

250px-Delta_logo.svgDelta Airlines flight DL-107 made an emergency landing at Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom, on December 2nd.

The Boeing 767-300 plane was heading from Charles de Gaulle Airport, France, to Salt Lake City, Utah, when the crew reported smoke in the cockpit and decided to divert.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unhurt.

Delta Airlines Plane Diverts to Colorado due to Hail Strike

The Airbus A320-200 en-route from Boston, Massachusetts, to Salt Lake City, Utah, was mid-air when it encountered severe turbulence due to hail and lightning.

The plane received damage to its radome, windshields and engines.

All 119 passengers and 5 crew members onboard remained unhurt.

United Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing after Panel Door Detaches Mid-Air

United airlinesUnited Airlines flight UA-1919 made an emergency landing in Salt Lake City, Utah, on July 24th.

The plane was heading from San Francisco, California, to Newark, New Jersey, when a panel door separated, forcing the crew to declare an emergency.

The plane landed uneventfully. No injuries were reported.

FedEx Plane Returns to Salt Lake City International Airport

FedExFedEx flight 3606 had to return and make an emergency landing at Salt Lake City International Airport, Utah, on December 22.

The plane took off for Indianapolis, Indiana, but had to return shortly afterwards due to indication of smoke in the cargo hold.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.
