Delta Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at McGhee Tyson Airport

Delta Airlines flight DL-1939 made an emergency landing at McGhee Tyson Airport, Tennessee, on August 13th.

The plane heading from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Atlanta, Georgia, was diverted due to reports of an unusual odor on board.

The plane landed uneventfully. All one hundred and forty-nine people aboard remained safe.

Qatar Airways Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Sri Lanka

Qatar Airways flight QR-841 had to divert for an emergency landing at Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka, on May 19th.

The Boeing 787-800 plane heading from Phuket, Thailand, to Doha, Qatar, was diverted due to reports of fire on-board.

The plane landed safely. All 202 people aboard remained unharmed.

American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Las Vegas

American Airlines flight AA-2098 had to return and make an emergency landing in Las Vegas, Nevada, on February 10th.

The Airbus A321-200 plane took off for Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, but had to return shortly afterwards due to reports of smoke and haze in the cabin.

The plane landed safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

The airline arranged a replacement plane for the passengers.
