Philippine Airlines flight PR-1857 had to return and make an emergency landing at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila, Philippines, on March 19.
The Airbus A340, flying from Manila to Cebu, Philippines, had just climbed out of runway when the crew reported smoke indication in the cockpit, prompting the plane to return.
The plane landed safely.
All 254 people aboard remained unhurt.
The passengers were accommodated in a replacement plane.
