Iran Air Flight Returns to Mashhad due to Engine Issue

Iran Air flight IR-467 made an emergency landing in Mashhad, Iran, on January 14th.

The plane took off for Tehran, Iran, but had to turn back after the crew needed to shut down one of the engines.

The plane landed back safely. All passengers and crew members remained unharmed.

Iran Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Amsterdam

Iran Air flight IR-724 made an emergency landing in Amsterdam, Netherlands, on June 14th.

The Airbus A300-600 plane took off for Tehran Imam Khomeini International Airport, Iran, but had to turn back due to technical issues.

The plane landed uneventfully. All one hundred and eighty-seven people aboard remained unharmed.

Who: 236 aboard
Why: While en route, the plane developed engine trouble. The crew had to shut down an engine, and divert to Istanbul. The flight made a safe landing.

No indication is made of passenger accommodations or if another plane was flown in.
