U.S. Coast Guard Plane Makes Emergency Landing at Gulfport–Biloxi International Airport

A U.S. Coast Guard C-130 plane made an emergency landing at Gulfport–Biloxi International Airport, Mississippi, on June 20th.

Airport authorities said the crew radioed in, saying that they needed to land at the airport due to smoke in the cockpit.

The plane landed safely. There were six people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

Delta Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing due to Flight Control Problems

Delta Airlines flight DL-2312 made an emergency landing in Gulfport, Mississippi, on March 12th.

The Boeing 717-200 plane flying from Atlanta, Georgia, was descending toward Gulfport when the crew declared an emergency due to flight control problems.

The plane landed at higher than normal speed. All 98 people aboard remained safe.

PSA Airlines Flight Returns to Charlotte After Deer Strike

PSA Airlines flight AA-5320 had to return for an emergency landing in Charlotte, North Carolina, on February 15th.

The FAA reported that the Canadair CRJ-700 plane that took off for Gulfport, Mississippi, had to turn back due to a deer strike during departure.

The plane landed back uneventfully. All 44 people aboard remained safe.
