World Atlantic Airways Plane Suffers Gear Collapse at Alexandria International Airport

World Atlantic Airways flight RPN-807 suffered a gear collapse after landing at Alexandria International Airport, Louisiana, on April 20th.

The incident happened when the plane was coming from Chicago, Illinois.

The plane became disabled on the runway. All one hundred and one people aboard remained unharmed.

The plane was operating on behalf of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

The incident happened when the plane was performing a cargo flight from Kuajok, South Sudan.

No injuries were reported.

April 9, 2017

Malaysia Airlines flight MH-2718 veered off runway during landing in Sibu, Malaysia, on April 8th.

The incident happened when Boeing 737-800 plane flying from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, was attempting to land during a heavy downpour.

The plane came to stop with its nose gear collapsed. All 61 passengers and 6 crew members remained uninjured.

Taban Air flight HH-6243 suffered a gear collapse during landing at Ardabil Airport, Iran, on March 27th.

The Boeing 737-400 plane was coming from Mashhad, Iran, when its right hand main gear collapsed.

There were 163 people aboard at the time; all of them remained unharmed.

The plane sustained considerable damage.
