Copa Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Panama City

Copa Airlines flight CM-358 had to return and make an emergency landing in Panama City, Panama, on January 31st.

The Boeing 737-800 plane took off for Guatemala City, Guatemala, but had to turn back after a bird strike caused engine issues.

The plane landed back safely. All one hundred and fifty-one people aboard remained unharmed.

Virgin Australia Flight Suffers Engine Problems Near Canberra

Virgin Australia flight DJ-660 suffered engine issues near Canberra, Australia, on December 13th.

The plane flying from Sydney, Australia, was descending toward Canberra when the both engines temporarily rolled back one after the other.

The crew subsequently switched to manual ignition and continued for a safe landing.

Three Injured After Small Plane Crashed in California

A small plane crashed into a parking lot near Gillespie Field in El Cajon, California, on December 17th.

Authorities said the pilot had reported engine issues, and was attempting to return to Gillespie Field when the plane went down and caught fire.

Three people were injured in the crash, including the pilot and two passengers. They were taken to hospitals.

The incident is being investigated.

American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing at DFW Airport

American Airlines flight AA-2856 made an emergency landing at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Texas, on November 4th.

The plane flying from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was descending toward DFW Airport when the crew reported engine issues.

The plane continued for a safe landing. All fifty-three passengers and four crew members remained unharmed.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Oakland County Field

A small plane made an emergency landing in a field in White Lake Township, Oakland County, Michigan, on October 20th.

Authorities said the plane started experiencing engine issues shortly after taking off from Oakland County International Airport.

The plane landed safely. The pilot, who was the only one aboard, remained uninjured.

Donald Trump’s Jet Makes Emergency Landing at Nashville International Airport

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s plane had to divert and make an emergency landing at Nashville International Airport, Tennessee, on February 3rd.

The Boeing B757, heading to Little Rock, Arkansas, had to be diverted after it experienced engine problems.

The plane landed safely. Everyone aboard remained unharmed.

The FAA is investigating.
