Small Plane Crashes near Fairbanks, Alaska; Two Killed

A small plane crashed near Fairbanks, Alaska, on May 27th.

The single-engine plane was carrying two people when it went down approximately 50 miles east of Fairbanks.

Both occupants of the plane were killed in the accident. They were identified as Sam Richard Brice, 81, of Fairbanks, and Howard A. “Buzz” Otis, 63, of North Pole, Alaska.

The incident is being investigated.

Small Plane Crashed Near Tweed-New Haven Airport, Connecticut; 1 Killed, 1 Injured

A small plane crashed near Tweed-New Haven Airport in Connecticut, on February 22nd.

Authorities said the Piper PA 38 plane went down in a nearby swamp immediately after taking off from the airport.

There were two people aboard at the time; one of them was killed in the accident while the other one was injured.

The deceased was identified as Pablo Campos Isona, 31, of East Haven.

The injured passenger was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Star Air Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Engine Failure

Star Air flight S6-6565 had to make an emergency landing in Cologne, Germany, on December 20th.

The Boeing 767-300 cargo plane flying from East Midlands, England, United Kingdom, was descending toward Cologne when the crew declared an emergency due to an engine failure.

The plane landed uneventfully. Everyone aboard remained safe.

Middle East Airlines Flight Diverts to Sofia due to Medical Emergency

The plane flying from Beirut, Lebanon, to Geneva, Switzerland, was diverted after a passenger suffered heart attack.

The plane landed safely. The patient was rushed to hospital.

The flight resumed shortly afterwards.

Skydive Aircraft Makes Safe Emergency Landing in Colorado after Catching Fire

A skydive aircraft had to return and make a safe emergency at Colorado Springs East Airport, Ellicott, Colorado, on August 7th.

The plane carrying 11 skydivers caught fire after it struck a bird.

The plane landed safely.

All skydivers evacuated the aircraft and remained unharmed.

Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing in Florida

A small plane made an emergency landing in Everglades in western Broward County, Florida, on March 16th.

Authorities said the plane was carrying two people when it landed on a levee near Sawgrass Recreational Park, east of U.S. 27 and north of Interstate 75.

Both occupants of the plane remained uninjured.

The cause of emergency landing is being investigated.

Two Injured after Small Plane Crashed in Robertson County

A Cessna 210 crashed near the intersection of Jack Rabbit Lane and OSR East in Robertson County, Tennessee, on February 16.

The plane was en-route from Arlington to College Station, Texas, when it lost engine power and went down on the Circle X Ranch.

There were three people aboard at the time; two of them, including James Guinn, 54, and his wife Kay, sustained non life-threatening injuries while the third passenger, identified as Melinda Guinn, 76, of Arlington, remained uninjured.

The FAA is investigating.

Small Plane Crashed in South Africa; Three Killed

A small plane crashed in Benoni, east of Johannesburg, South Africa, on February 2nd.

Authorities said the Piper PA-32 plane took off from Brakpan Airfield, and was heading to Limpopo Province when it crashed into shacks in Watville.

There were three people aboard at the time, including the pilot and two Austrian tourists, all of them were killed in the crash.

The cause of crash is being investigated.

Pilot Killed after Small Plane Crashed in Florida

crashA small plane crashed into trees on FM 696 East in Lee County, Florida, at around 6:30 P.M. on September 27.

The pilot was found dead on the scene. It is believed that he was the only person aboard.

The cause of crash is being investigated.
