Turkish Airlines Plane Makes Priority Landing in Istanbul

Turkish Airlines flight TK2659 made a priority landing at Istanbul Atatürk Airport in Istanbul, Turkey, on November 14.

The Boeing 737-800 was flying from Sivas, Turkey, when an asthma patient passenger fell ill mid-air. The pilot then contacted the air traffic control, saying “Our asthma patient passenger has low blood pressure. We have doctor in the cabin. Doctor is frequently checking the blood pressure. If it possible we would like to land on as soon as possible sir.”

The plane landed uneventfully. It is believed that the patient’s condition had become better during landing.

Ryanair Plane Returns to Latvia due to Fuel Leakage

Ryanair flight FR-8086 had to return and make an emergency landing at Riga International Airport, Riga, Latvia, on October 26.

The Boeing 737-800, en-route to Charleroi, Belgium, had to return due to suspected fuel leakage in one of its engine.

The plane landed safely.

All 176 passengers and 6 crew members aboard remained unhurt.

Ryanair Plane Returns to Germany after Bird Strike

Ryanair flight FR-4376 returned and made an emergency landing at Weeze Airport, Germany, on October 20.

The Boeing 737-800, en-route to Tallinn, Estonia, with 183 passengers aboard, had to return due to a bird strike.

The plane landed safely.

No injuries were reported.

The passengers were accommodated in a replacement flight.

No Injuries Reported as Pobeda Airlines Jet Veers Off after Landing in Kirov, Russia

A Pobeda Airlines plane, performing flight DP-275, veered to the edge of the runway after landing at Pobedilovo Airport in Kirov, Russia, on October 12.

The incident happened when the Boeing 737-800 was coming from Vnukovo International Airport, Moscow.

There were 162 people aboard at the time; all of the remained unhurt.

Authorities said the aircraft took out several lights installed on the edge of runway.

The incident is under investigation.
